Hello 5.30 am! :D  Isn't God amazing?

And then He finished the day with another awesome display! I always imagine sunset and sunrise as being painted by God's majestic hand as the light and clouds entwine with grace and beauty.

Photo Challenge Day 4 - Leaves

Plain old leaves from our Plane tree out the front! Not so plain really, they are so large and shady and I sure do appreciate them in this hot weather!

Colt wants to decorate this tree for Christmas, so yesterday I bought some baubles and we got out the largest ladder and.....we couldn't hang them, sigh!

Today I shall pop down to the shop and grab some hooks to hang the baubles in the tree and then I shall take a photo of it all dressed up for Christmas!

Photo Challenge Day 3 - Happiness

What a challenge! After photographing a smile, I pondered how to capture happiness. then an opportunity was presented to me when our eldest daughter asked if I had finished her costume for a fancy-dress party for that evening!
Of course, I hadn't started it all! Then I realized, here was my opportunity to get my happiness shot. All I had to do was complete a circle skirt in plenty of time before the party!!! I had never achieved this goal, ever! Specially for poor, long-suffering Lorinda!

So here is my picture of Happiness:

I am so glad that I didn't let her down, for the first time. Things can only improve in my timing skills from here on in! :)
