The first weekend in March was our *ahem* annual (We missed last year though!) extended family holiday.
We had an absolute blast, catching up on each other's lives, playing games, and sharing meals together. It was wonderful to see how well the kids enjoyed each other's company too as they don't get the chance to get together very often at all. I think this weekend reminded us how much we need to make opportunities for the cousins to just enjoy being together.
Next year, we will change the weekend as there are 2 kids whose birthdays fall close to, or on the weekend, so we shall shift it so parties aren't delayed every year for the same kids.
